Verde Haven Signature Aroid and Hoya Blend

Our Signature Aroid & Hoya Blend is the custom soil recipe we use in-house at Verde Haven for many of our favorite tropical plants — especially Hoyas, philodendrons, monsteras, anthuriums, and other aroids. It’s designed to create the ideal environment for healthy roots, steady growth, and happy, thriving plants.

This blend features a mix of:

• Premium organic potting substrate to provide gentle nutrition and moisture support
• Chunky lightweight aggregate for excellent drainage and airflow
• Orchid bark to maintain structure, prevent compaction, and keep roots breathable
• as small dose of a natural root-support additive  to help ease transplant shock and encourage quick establishment

The result is a beautifully textured, airy substrate that holds just enough moisture without ever staying waterlogged — perfectly suited to epiphytic and tropical plants that need oxygen around their roots as much as they need hydration.
